Community Update 9/4/20
Hello Del Valle Families,
You are a vital part of our school and we need your help! Our school has several opportunities for parents to participate in and your support is vital to the success of our school. Many of the meetings are virtual and only meet several times during the year. We know you are extremely busy but we appreciate your contribution.
SSC Student Site Council
The Student Site Council meets three times a year virtually. Our meetings involve parents, students and staff. The primary responsibilities of the SSC is to identify common goals and assist the leadership team in planning and achieving those goals.
ELAC English Language Advisory Council
The English Language Advisory Council meets three times a year virtually. The purpose of the ELAC is to advise school leadership on decisions concerning programs and services for English Language Learners.
PCIC Parent Club Information Council
The Parent Club Information Council is a district led Council that meets the second Tuesday of every month from 12:00pm - 2:00pm. Topics vary at each meeting.

MCS Model Continuation School
Del Valle applies for recognition from the State of California Department of Education. During this process auditors talk with parents about our school and their experiences with our staff.
Dates and times will be announced.
If you haven’t done so already please complete the child nutrition application. Even though students are not here to receive meals, meals are still available at various school sites.
The student transportation program through Alameda County will continue this year. Here is the link to apply.
