  • Online Course Selection for 2020-2021 School Year

    Current CMS 6th and 7th graders will be selecting their 2020-2021 core and elective choices online from March 13-April 17.

    On April 3, 2020, the LVJUSD School Board extended student dismissal from regular school attendance through the end of the school year June 4, 2020. Our teachers will continue to provide online lessons to CMS students. Any/all Shelter in Place orders and guidance issued by Governor Newsom to stay at home, except for essential activities, will remain in effect until further notice.

  • 8th Grade Promotion and End of the Year Information

    Information about 8th grade activities including the Great America trip, 8th Grade Panoramic Picture, and other promotion activities will be sent to parents and guardians the week of March 2.

  • LVJUSD Framework for Success

    The Livermore Valley Joint Unified School District uses a Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) - a comprehensive framework that aligns academic, behavioral, and social emotional learning - to meet the needs of all students in our district. Under the umbrella of the LVJUSD framework, the three components that address students’ needs are Academics, Positive Behavioral Intervention and Supports (PBIS), and Social Emotional Learning (SEL).

    All students in the Livermore Valley Joint Unified School District are participating in the Choose Love social emotional learning curriculum during the 2018-19 school year. Students learn the Choose Love Formula: Courage + Gratitude + Forgiveness + Compassion in Action = Choosing Love Formula.
