Welcome to TK ~ The first year of a two year Kindergarten program.  I am so excited to get the opportunity to spend the 2018-2019 school year with your child.  I believe TK is truly a gift of time.  More time for your child to get to know how school works, what it is like to be in a classroom, learn how to behave in a classroom, and really understand school is a safe place to come each day.  A place where we make mistakes, and learn and grow together.  I love that I get to be a part of your child's first year of school.

I absolutely LOVE school.  I LOVE being a student.  I've known since 4th grade that I wanted to be a teacher, and as a matter of fact, I still look for ways to keep taking classes and furthering my own education, just so I can continue to be a student.

I hope when your child leaves my class they too LOVE school.  I want your child to feel loved, cared for, and important each day they are here!  My hope is that feeling carries with them throughout their life.

I believe passionately in the 7 Habits program, The Leader In Me, and we practice those habits each and every day.  I want my students to know and live those 7 habits ~ if they can do that, they are set up for success!!

When I'm not at school I enjoy spending time with my husband, and 3 daughters.  We live in Livermore and I am proud to teach and give back to the community in which I reside.

I look forward to working with you this year.  It is important for us to work together, as a team, for your child to succeed.  I also look forward to watching your child reach many milestones this school year!!
