❒ Course Overview

The 8th Grade Science curriculum covers materials from Discovery Education. The content includes: the history of earth, heredity and natural selection, why objects move and collide (motion forces, energy), and non-contact forces (electromagnetic force, gravity) that influence the solar system. The curriculum is aligned to meet the New Generation Science Standards (NGSS) for 8th Grade Science.
