Mr. Erik Taylor

It is with great excitement that I welcome you to William Mendenhall Middle School. I am honored to have the opportunity to lead a school with such wonderful students, an extremely dedicated staff, and a supportive school community.

I have been dedicated to the field of education for more than twenty years. During this time, I have worked with students at both the middle school and high school levels in a variety of roles. My experience includes being a middle school 7th and 8th grade CORE teacher, a middle and high school technology teacher, a District Technology Integration Specialist, and a Vice Principal at Christiansen Middle School, Livermore High School, and Del Valle Continuation High School. Most recently, I served as the Principal of Del Valle Continuation High School. I am thrilled to bring my skills as an educational leader to Mendenhall Middle School and to work with you as an educational partner.

On a personal note, I have lived in Livermore for the past twenty years. My wife, Dayna Taylor, is also a principal in the LVJUSD, serving at Rancho Elementary School. Both of our sons have attended and graduated from Livermore schools, with our oldest being a proud graduate of Mendenhall Middle School. We love Livermore and cherish all that this wonderful community has to offer.

I look forward to a successful school year and to working together to support our students' growth and achievements.
