Mrs. Marni Angelo

It is with great pride that I return to Leo R. Croce Elementary School to serve as principal. Having taught at Croce for over 20 years, I have firsthand knowledge of the commitment and dedication of the staff, the perseverance of the students, and the support of the community. During my 30 years in the field of education, I have served as Summer School principal, interim vice principal at the middle and high school levels, Teacher on Special Assignment in the Curriculum Department, Instructional Leadership Team member, and educator.

Creating and maintaining a safe, nurturing student-centered experience that fosters respect for individual differences is my top priority. It is my desire to collaborate with all stakeholders to develop the intellectual capacity, academic skills, and social competence of all children so they are prepared to be productive and contributing members of our global society.

This school holds a special place in my heart and I am thrilled beyond words to be returning “home” to  Leo R Croce Elementary School. I live in the Croce community with my husband Brien, and Smooch, our rabbit.  My daughter, Kennedy, is a former Croce student. She graduated from Livermore High School before earning her Bachelor of Science degree in nursing. She currently lives in Arizona where she works as a nurse in the Neuro ICU. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, mountain biking, baking, and reading.
