No amount is too small to make a difference. Marylin Avenue Steam Academy will use these funds for school events and specific needs in the classroom.  These needs can range from tissue boxes and other school supplies to field trip fees and transportation.

Parents can make a huge difference by donating just an hour of their time. Studies have shown that kids do better when parents are involved. Grades are higher.  Test scores improve. Attendance increases.  And who knows? You might just make a friend in the PTO!

Unable to be physically present at an event?  No problem! There are opportunities to volunteer your time from your home.  From making friendship grams to planning a PTO activity to sharing posts about our school on your socials, there is something for everyone. 

From time to time, MASA PTO may ask for item donations to fill raffle baskets. All donations are greatly appreciated and can be dropped off in the front office.

The Marylin Avenue STEAM Academy PTO holds events throughout the year. If you are a company and would like to sponsor one of these events (i.e. t-shirts, snack bar, etc.) please email MASAptoFundraising@gmail.com for more information.

As a Room Parent, you may be asked to

• communicate between other parents, the PTO, and school administration,
• organize donation drives for supplies that will be used for classroom parties and events,
• collect money for teacher gifts during holidays and Teacher Appreciation Week,
• organize volunteers for classroom events, enrichment, or other tasks as decided by the teacher.
