  • End of School Year - Important Information about Collection Days

    Collection Days are coming. On your collection day, you can return your textbooks, chromebooks, library books, and pick up PE clothes, etc. 8th graders can also get their promotion certificate, a virtual promotion program, and any awards and pins the student has earned.The schedule will help to make sure we are allowing for Social Distancing.   • Incoming 6th Graders - Sign up for Music

    One of the wonderful options sixth grade students have as a middle schooler is taking music. Sixth grade students have the option of taking band, choir or orchestra. Students who take music will have the class during the regular school day and will take PE during zero period from 7:30-8:20 AM two days a week; either Monday and Wednesday or Tuesday and Thursday. Music classes are optional, but once signed up, it is a year long commitment.   • Student Wins Top Prize in Cookie Dough Fundraiser

    East Avenue 6th grade student, Amelia Silva has won the top prize in the Cookie Dough fundraiser. She is pictured here opening her prize envelope and discovering that she won $50. Congratulations, Amelia.

  • Breakfast and Lunch pick-up Available Monday through Friday

    The pick-up time for Grab and Go meals will change effective Monday, April 20th. Breakfast and Lunch pick-up for children up to age 18 will be available Monday through Friday from 9:30-10:30 AM. Pick-up will take place in the drop off circle in front of East Avenue Middle School at 3951 East Avenue.

  • 2nd Trimester Honor Roll is Posted

    The East Avenue 2nd Trimester Honor Rolls have been posted on the website. East Avenue has two types of honor rolls – Principal’s Honor Roll and Regular Honor Roll. To be on either honor roll, a student must: Not have any F’s Not have any incompletes or “no marks”- this refers to grades on the report card - not individual assignments in a class. The GPA (grade point average) needed for Principal’s Honor Roll is 3.71 or higher The GPA needed for Regular Honor Roll is 3.0 to 3.7.   • Teachers Announce Office Hours

    Beginning after Spring Break, in addition to the distance learning opportunities that teachers are providing, teachers will be available for “Office Hours” during the times indicated. Use Office Hours to ask questions, get extra help and intervention support, or to connect with your teachers.
