William Mendenhall Middle School

In 6th Grade Core, we will develop our reading, writing, and cultural awareness. 

In Social Studies, we will start with prehistory and ending with the establishment of the Roman Empire!

As we travel through time, we will meet inspirational leaders and witness historic accomplishments.

As we read, we will engage and empathize with characters who overcame obstacles.  We will write to express our thoughts clearly and with adequate support.

We will build our knowledge through collaboration, research, and perseverance.

It will be a year of growth and independence.  I look forward to it!!
