Welcome to Mrs. Cortez's Sixth Grade Core and ELD Core!

I have been teaching in the Livermore School District for the past 3 years and I have been teaching for a total of 18 years!   I graduated from Houston University of Texas  with a degree in Biological and Physical Sciences.  I then went on to earn a Master's Degree in curriculum design.  I live in Livermore with my husband Sergio, my son Diego, and my daughter Gabriela.   In my free time I like to read and spend time with my friends and family.
