• Hiring Process for Coaches

    Returning Coach:

    1. Go to www.livermoreschools.org/humanresources
    2. Click On "Job Vacancies and Applications" (Left Side of the screen)
    3. Find Your Job and Apply through the Frontline website. 
      • You will need to retake the Keenan Safe Schools online courses every year. 
      • You will need to retake Concussion, Heat Illness, Sudden Cardiac Arrest and CPR/First Aid/AED every 2 years

    New Coach:

    Step 1: Go to www.livermoreschools.org/humanresources  

      • Click On "Job Vacancies and Applications" (Left Side of the screen)
      • Find Your Job and Apply through the Frontline website.  

    Step 2: Notify athletic director (jpetersdorf@lvjusd.org) that your application is in.

    Step 3: Take the following courses at www.NFHSLearn.com: Fundamentals of Coaching, Concussion in Sports, Sudden Cardiac Arrest, Heat Illness

    Step 4: Get A TB test or Obtain results if you have taken one within the last 4 years.

    Step 5: Get Certified in CPR/First Aid/AED.

    Step 6: Take Keenan Safe School Training (An email will be sent to you on how to gain access this website.)

    Step 7: Get Certified in Water Safety (If applicable; swimming, diving, waterpolo)

    Step 8: District will notify you of Final Clearance.

    • No coach may work with any athlete until they are "clear" and have a current coaching badge.
