Course Objective/Standards: Welcome to World History A, the first trimester!  The goal of the class is to have an understanding of events that have shaped our world today.  The units that we will be covering this trimester include Foundations of Government, the French Revolution, the Industrial Revolution, Imperialism, and World War I. Throughout the course, students will use magazine articles, video segments, newspapers, and other media to further their learning.  Some of these materials will cover controversial topics that are directly related to the state and district standards for this course.
