  • Dear LVJUSD Families,

Thank you to those of you who have already responded to our Trimester 3 survey. Some of you have expressed the need for additional information before you can decide whether your child will continue in distance learning or move to in-person learning. With that in mind, we have created Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) that provide responses to questions you have recently asked through emails and phone calls.

We will leave our survey open through Tuesday, February 16th at noon. (Links below) Once we have finalized the actual bell schedules, you will have an opportunity to modify your child’s selection, if you choose to.

In our commitment to provide communication about COVID-19 in our community and our ability to reopen our schools to in-person learning, as well as continuing with distance learning, we have added new information to our website:

    • The COVID-19 Information section provides information about COVID-positive cases in LVJUSD as well as current data and information from the Alameda County Public Health Department. You can find this section by clicking on the “COVID-19 Information” icon on the homepage, or by navigating to livermoreschools.org/covid-19information.
    • The Reopening Information section provides a summary of reopening criteria and what we have done to prepare for reopening. The Reopening Checklist shows what we have already completed, includes work that is recurring, and shows what work is in progress. This page is where you will find our Reopening Plan, with many details about health and safety protocols. Our District checklist holds true for all of our school and district sites. Reopening information can be found through the link on the homepage or by navigating to livermoreschools.org/reopening.

    Thank you,

    LVJUSD Leadership Team
