Dana Dodge is a registered dietitian and is energized to lead the Child Nutrition Department while striving to strengthen the participation in our child nutrition programs on campuses throughout our district.
Prior to her position in the Livermore Valley Joint USD, Ms.Dodge was a Child Nutrition Consultant for the California Department of Education (CDE) as a program compliance expert for over 10 years. She has also worked as a clinical nutrition support dietitian.
Through her previous role at CDE, Ms. Dodge had become familiar with our district by auditing the district's Child Nutrition Department's administration of the National School Lunch program, Breakfast Program, Seamless Summer Program, After School Snack Program and the Child and Adult Food Program supper program. Most recently, she represented both USDA and CDE to present to Junction K-8 School the National award, Healthier US School Challenge.
